The findings of the study concluded there was a statistically significant reduction in ADHD symptoms following the activities conducted in an outdoor natural environment. This was true even when a similar activity was conducted in two or more of the study settings -- ADHD was most notably reduced in the natural, green environment. Interestingly, these findings also held true when the activity was modified from individual to small group and large group variations. The conclusion? An easy natural treatment for ADD may be to simply send your child outside to play! In today's life, kids are so focused on TV, video games, and computer time that they've all but forgotten the simple joys of fresh air and exercise!
